How can we harness the power of movement and mindfulness to transform pain into strength?

With my background as a former professional dancer, licensed massage therapist, and corrective exercise specialist, I've accumulated a deep understanding of the human body.

From New York Dance Floors to Holistic Healing Mastery

Maddie has been immersed in the arts and all forms of movement her entire life, growing up within the greater NYC area. She completed her B.S in Dance from the Department of Kinesiology at Indiana University specializing in Exercise Science. For the past decade she has been part of two successful fitness startups, including the dance cardio empire, DanceBody, of which she is a founding member.

Physical mindfulness, balance, and fun were the underlying objectives of Maddie’s sought-after classes, but something was still missing. As someone living with an autoimmune disease, she went through years of life yo yoing between both Western and eastern approaches to pain, while still actively moving throughout.

This led her to get to the root of the problem by studying soft tissue manipulation through the approach of both Western and Eastern science at, Pacific College of Health & Science, Ischemic Compression technique under Dr. Vinita Chandra Modey as well as the philosophy of body mapping and structural integration of Anatomy Trains. She is a licensed massage therapist.

Living with a degenerative disease has given Maddie an ability to combine both knowledge and intuition while helping clients to be self aware of their behavioral patterns.

As a Certified Personal Trainer since 2008, she gained certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Stott Pilates, Kettlebell Concepts, TRX, Myofascial Release and Pre and Post Natal Training and Recovery. Her one on one sessions are specific to each client, but focus on helping you to understand the root of your pain, so that you can evolve from it. Her unique combination of problem solving acute or chronic pain patterns through movement and manual manipulation, allowed her to be the architect of her own healing. What she does is not magic, but she does help you to access your body’s magical ability to self correct.

“Mastering the art of sleep and understanding the nuances of body positioning during rest is not merely a nightly ritual; it's the cornerstone upon which the edifice of holistic health is built”
